What's this?
This is intended to be a place for brainstorming and coalescing ideas for the future of Open Circuit -- things like getting a permanent space, broadening/redefining our mission, etc.
Decision-making
Possible decision-making methods:
- Consensus (everyone has a say, but can be time-consuming)
- Majority rule (everyone understands it, but can leave people out)
- Benevolent dictatorship (may be inevitable until we get more members/structure)
- Follow the leader(s) (Assert yourself or acquiesce in tacit agreement)
Permanent space
Pros:
- Greater visibility
- Could foster more community involvement
- Ability to offer more services (computer lab, recycling, etc.)
Cons:
- Cost!
Big questions:
- How big?
- Where?
- May be space available in Phillips Eco-Enterprise Center
- Funding sources?
