F1 Web challenge, TCOpenCircuit, and Doorstep Healthcare Services

I've just woken up from a crazy weekend at the f1 web challenge, hosted by sierra bravo. Thanks to all the sponsors, my awesome team from twin cities open circuit, and Shira from Doorstep Healthcare Services.

Also thanks to Kai from Sunday's Energy for agreeing to host the site for the next year and for helping getting everything set up. Joe was also very helpful in getting things running.

You can see our work (all done in < 30 hrs!) here.

It was really fun working with everyone- here they are as I hazily remember-

My thoughts on why things

My thoughts on why things are slower in the South: based on historical reasoning and just habits passed down through the ages....The South is a more temperate climate allowing for a nice long slow growing season. ccnp certification Back in the day the folks could afford to take things easy. No rush to plant, no rush to harvest. ccsp In the North with the shorter season folks got used to a certain amount of time constraint and a sense of urgency. cisa Must rush and plant now that spring is here and the growing season is so short and the bad weather comes on so fast you must rush to harvest. ccda And in the South the weather is milder in the winter allowing for a slower pace. (And if you move too fast in August you will pass out from heat exhaustion. Better to take it nice and easy.)
