Where are we at?

We are currently applying to get funding for a space so that FGTC can operate. We still need lots of things to be done and time is limited between the people that are currently involved. We need some more volunteers to help get this great project off the ground.

Thanks to the folks who organized Minnebar this weekend. We all had a great time and were excited to meet other folks who are into using technology to better our community. We hope you will be inspired to join us!

Also, we are in the early stages of organizing a second Drupal event: Drupal Daze. It will take place July 18-20. Let us know if you are interested in presented or planning at admin@tcopencircuit.org.

Open Circuit will be at Minnebar this weekend, Sat. May 10th at Coffman Union. Come to our session to find out about what we're up to and how to get involved!

I've just woken up from a crazy weekend at the f1 web challenge, hosted by sierra bravo. Thanks to all the sponsors, my awesome team from twin cities open circuit, and Shira from Doorstep Healthcare Services.

Are you geeking out on a project right now?

Open Circuit is looking for people to share their technology projects! Our next event, Short Circuits on March 16, is a chance for YOU to share a project you are working on or technology you are excited about. The idea is that folks will have 10 minutes (we are strict about the time limit) to present some sort of technology-related project they are working on -- be it hardware, hands-on, web, animation, whatever is interesting you right now. Open source projects are particularly encouraged!
